Overview
Development Underwriter Birmingham £60,000 - £100,000 package, bonus, equity/LTIP (Ref - JO065-1) This progressive MGA has big plans for development in the UK regions. The firm already controls premiums well in excess of £40m through its London market presence and is looking to attract driven individuals as they build out a regional play, backed by significant investment. We’re looking for entrepreneurial individuals with the market presence, distribution channels and relationships, plus the technical nous to deploy the firms A-rated capacity to write commercial and financial risks. The business is built on strong underwriting foundations, winning business through expertise, service levels and 'well thought out’ solutions rather than price - they play in some niche areas of the commercial and financial lines markets and are open to expanding reach into similar niches. Serious financial rewards are available, including equity and/or long-term incentives for the right person, or team of people. The Company An expanding MGA with huge plans, the business has a strong underwriting core and is looking to expand profitably following significant investment. The Role A senior Development Underwriting role, working to profitably build the regional book. You’ll be given the autonomy and support to succeed in a forward-thinking environment. You A senior underwriter with a strong market position and the skills to execute a development plan in the UK regions.
