Overview

Are you an ambitious, technically strong qualified Accountant who is Practice trained and either looking for a first step out of practice, or a new challenge having recently made the move in to industry? Pratap Partnership is working with a large company in Rotherham who are looking for a Financial Accounting & Controls Manager. This exciting opportunity will have responsibility for leading the statutory audit requirements, and the internal controls programme. The role will report in to the Head of Reporting and will work alongside two other Managers within the Reporting team. You will have a significant level of responsibility and will be expected to lead the development of all technical accounting requests within the Division. The Job Lead the requirements for the annual and interim statutory audits Develop and maintain analysis for audit purposes Implement systems and procedures to facilitate efficient collection of data required for audit First point of contact in Division for all audit related matters Keep up to date with IFRS requirements and implement within Division Production of all IFRS information as required including writing technical accounting papers Attend regular meetings with the external reporting teams Consolidation accounting Monitor and develop Internal control processes, reporting, and assessments Support for Business Development on financial elements of bids as required Continually develop and improve the systems and procedures for the reporting team The Person ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified Accountant with experience of producing statutory accounts under IFRS.
