Overview
Maintenance Plumber required in Preston, long term temporary with an immediate start Your new company Due to the high increase of work, this Preston based contractor are now looking to recruit for a long-term Maintenance Plumber to work on both tenanted and void properties across Preston, Blackpool and East Lancashire. Your new role Within your new role, you will be working on Local Authority and Social housing properties which will both tenanted and void. As a maintenance plumber, your day to day duties will involve void works, wet room and bathroom installations & general repair works. For this vacancy, it would be beneficial if you have experience in other trades such as Plastering, Tiling or facilities maintenance as this role does involve some multi-skilled repairs. What you'll need to succeed All relevant qualifications such as Plumbing NVQ level 2 and a DBS/security check will be completed through Hays. Due to the nature of the organisation and the properties you will be working in, you must have a calm attitude and excellent communication skills. You must hold a valid UK driving licence and have your own van and tools. What you'll get in return This vacancy will be a long term and ongoing temporary vacancy paying £16.98 per hour which will be paid into your chosen account every week through submitting your time sheet on our Hays portal You will be working Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week.
