Quantity Surveyor Job In Norwich Your new company We're delighted to be supporting an organisation in Norfolk to recruit a Quantity Surveyor for a permanent position. You'll be joining an experienced and multi-disciplined team who deliver a range of estates and assets services to a mix of public and private sector clients. Due to growth in workload, new client work streams and several new and one-off projects, the organisation is looking to recruit to the team on a permanent basis. Your new role As the Quantity Surveyor in the Norwich office, alongside preparing feasibility studies, preliminary estimates, cost plans, databases, tender and advising on the economics of design you will be expected to: Provide advice on the use of whole life costing techniques. Control all post contract procedures, make valuations for payments, producing financial reports and monitoring actual and anticipated expenditure against profile. Assist in the project management of schemes, setting objectives, provide direction, control and advise on related matters including issuing progress reports and in post contract reviews. What you'll need to succeed As the quantity surveyor you will be required to bring your own unique mix of experience and knowledge to the role and see how you can add to the team. Ideally you will be: Professional membership of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (Student or AssocRICS) and be looking to work towards Chartered status Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in a related discipline Holds a current site card or is prepared to immediately attain Experience in a similar related role Project Management experience on a range of building works of differing sizes and types What you'll get in return This is an excellent opportunity for someone to utilise their experience in a new setting and to further develop their surveying experience.
