Purchase Ledger Clerk | Blackburn | £18000 - £21000 | Permanent | 22 days holidays BH | Full time | Parking Your new company A well established business in Blackburn, Lancashire are now seeking an experienced Purchase Ledger Clerk to join their team on a full time and permanent basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a progressive and ambitious candidate to join a fast paced business. Your new role As a Purchase Ledger Clerk in this role, you will report to the Finance Manager and be responsible for the management of the full AP ledger. You will ensure all invoices are authorised, coding of all invoices, supplier statement reconciliation and managing supplier queries. You will process all payments for approved invoices, allocation of supplier payments and be responsible for processing month end invoice accruals and supporting month end close process. Maintaining a positive relationship with external and internal stakeholders is a crucial part of this role, ensuring high levels of customer service. This is a full time role between Monday and Friday. What you'll need to succeed Experience of working in a similar role previously would be advantageous with strong communication skills. It would be desirable for you to be working towards your AAT or have graduated with a finance related degree. You should be able to work to tight deadlines, be able to work flexibility within a busy team environment. What you'll get in return You will be offered a competitive salary between £18000 - £21000, which is dependent on experience.
