Butler Rose have partnered with a well established Manufacturing Company who are looking to enhance their finance function by recruiting an experienced Purchase Ledger Assistant. This is an excellent opportunity for an Purchase Ledger Administrator to join a this friendly office based in the Blackpool area. The Job As Purchase Ledger Assistant you will report to the Financial Controller, working as part of a finance team of 5 you will be responsible for the end to end function of the Purchase ledger and will focus on building lasting relationships. The job will suit someone wanting to be an integral part of the team, and have a passion for process improvements. Your responsibilities will include - Matching and posting of a high volume of invoices (supported by two accounts assistants). Proactively resolving invoice queries. Supplier statement reconciliation. Processing credit notes. Deal with supplier queries and emails in a professional and timely fashion. Liaise with other departments to resolve and queries that may arise. Monthly and weekly payment run. Support management with any ad-hoc tasks as required. To be considered for this role you must have experience of working within a busy purchase ledger department. You must be a confident communicator, have strong people skills and be able to prioritise and work under pressure whilst ensuring accuracy at all times.
