BOURNVILLE VILLAGE TRUST RESIDENT LIAISON OFFICER SALARY £25,099 - £27,320 ESSENTIAL CAR USER ALLOWANCE FULL TIME - PERMANENT Bournville Village Trust (BVT) is a charitable Housing Association, founded by chocolate maker and social reformer George Cadbury in 1900 to provide alternative housing to the slum conditions of inner city Birmingham. Today BVT currently owns and manages around 3,100 rented properties in the Bournville area of Birmingham and 750 in and around Telford. BVT also owns and manages a wider portfolio of commercial units and 3000 acres of agriculture land. Bournville Propertycare Services (BPS) is the longest established in-house contractor in the country. Presently BPS stands as the main provider of maintenance services to BVT, commissioned with delivering responsive repairs, empty property refurbishments and planned and cyclical maintenance programmes to their housing stock, architectural and commercial interests and historic buildings. We are looking for someone with the right blend of strengths, experience and ambition to be responsible for maintaining the high levels of customer satisfaction recorded during 2019. Liaising with site management, operatives, client and the residents of BVT. Providing the relevant support and information on the works to be undertaken and ensuring a safe and secure environment for all. Ensuring all enquiries and complaints are investigated and resolved efficiently and within targets and advising residents and clients of their outcomes. Bournville Propertycare Services have ambitious plans to grow and expand its in-house contractor offering and the successful candidate will be at the heart of these exciting times. Previous experience in a similar role in the maintenance sector and/or service focused environment is essential. To be successful in the role you will have excellent communication and negotiation skills.
