Technical Sales Assistant - Technology - Milton Keynes up to £26,000 plus benefits Hello Recruitment is pleased to be recruiting a Technical Sales Assistant for a Technology based business located in Milton Keynes. Key tasks associated with this role will include: • Monitor pre-sales queries received through a variety of channels including telephone and email. Interpret the client’s requirements and either resolve the matter directly, or direct to the most appropriate colleague • Utilise the CRM system and Sharepoint effectively to accurately record, monitor and maintain all customer interactions, transactions, and issues • Prepare 'supply only’ sales quotations in a timely manner in co-ordination with the wider team • Liaise with our installation partners to obtain quotes for 'supply and install’ works • Co-ordinate with Supply Chain and Finance Teams to ensure a smooth order and delivery process, maintaining clear lines of communication with the client at all stages of the sales process • Provide the first-line response to requests for technical assistance, logging support calls and monitoring response through to satisfactory conclusion for client. Diagnose and resolve basic technical hardware and software issues at a product information level - quickly understand the problem and how best to resolve it for the client, ensuring clear and timely communication throughout • Collate information that can be passed on to 2nd and 3rd line technical support if more advanced support is required, liaising with the Operations or the Solutions & Product Departments as required to co-ordinate a full response for the client • Escalate strategic client issues to Head of Client Experience for advice and/or resolution as required • Process and log Returns to Manufacturer (RMAs) and liaise with Supply Chain Manager and partners to ensure appropriate actions are undertaken and communications with the client are maintained throughout • Attend relevant training events, industry days, seminars and conferences to develop and expand on your knowledge and networks within the ITS sector. • Liaise with other internal teams involved with the sales cycle and attend meetings as required to ensure effective communications across the business • Support the wider Sales Team with a variety of administrative tasks such as desk-based research, CRM maintenance, and preparation for in-house meetings and presentations. This role may suit a graduate with an IT background who has undertaken a first line support role and is looking to progress his career forward. The business is expanding so the client is happy to take someone on who is ambitious to grow through the business.
