Overview
You will be responsible for: -receiving transport plans from our business partners -organising and planning drivers and loads -ensuring that drivers and vehicles are compliant with legislation -monitoring drivers hours and breaks -reporting and investigating all incidents -resolving customers and drivers queries over the phone, by email and in person -dealing with any driver's issues -making sure all orders are delivered on time -inputting and maintaining data on the in house system -raising delivery paperwork The ideal candidate must possess a minimum of 12 months experience in a transport managing/planning role and a good knowledge of the UK road network, being computer literate UK driving licence is essential Transport Manager CPC is essential
