Overview
Quality Manufacturing Engineer £35000, pension, 25 days plus stats holiday and bonus Chesterfield If you like to be in the thick of the shop floor to get things done and make improvements this is right up your street. We are looking for a Quality Manufacturing Engineer to join a successful (circa 35% growth last 2 years) and profitable precision engineering business. There is some exciting stuff happening right now, product and technical development and capacity investment. The last 2 years have not just seen 35% revenue growth, they have also significantly improved and sustained productivity and added more great people to the team. To be in with a shout you must have a good grasp of various quality tools, 8D, Ishikawa, 5Y and the like, in an industrial/manufacturing environment. You must be able to influence, train and coach at all levels and most importantly you must have a strong need to be out on the shop floor. Yes, you need to be able to analyse data and do some desk-based work but if you like to be at your desk for more than a couple of hours a day this isn’t going to be for you.
