Overview
Job Title - Life & Pensions Actuarial Analyst Contract - Permanent Salary - GBP35,000 - GBP50,000 Location - London Industry - IT, Actuarial, Analyst, Life & Pension The role will be report to the Actuarial & Analytics team and will be to support the broking team in pricing reinsurance contracts and analysing business performance across a range of insurance classes, predominantly Life & Pensions. · Develop a good understanding of each client and its business model · Pricing assessments of renewal books of business or new business, across a range of lines of business. · Clearly and effectively communicating the impact of results to brokers, underwriters, clients and management · Assist in building and maintaining our clients bespoke internal models · Analysing client business plans and profitability testing · Gain in depth knowledge of the UK reinsurance market The ideal candidate will have the following attributes: · 1-2 years of experience as actuarial analyst · At least a 2.1 degree in a numerate subject · Making good progress in the IFOA actuarial exams · Demonstrate a strong desire to learn and having a proactive approach · Have analytical and problem solving skills · Proficient in Excel Personal Skills: · Enthusiastic with excellent problem-solving skills · Showing initiative / self-motivated to get the job done and improve practices · Great interpersonal skills - ability to converse with both internal and external customers · Excellent written and verbal communication If you have the relevant experience or know someone that does please contact us now on or email us at ____________________________________________________________________________________ view all Current Vacancies or for more information on our Refer a Friend scheme, contact one of our consultants or visit our website www.lawesgroup.co.uk Please Note: Due to the sheer volume of applications we receive, we will only contact successful applications.
