Overview
REED recruitment are supporting a business in Cheltenham with the recruitment of an Assistant Financial accountant on a 6 month fixed term contract. The main responsibilities of this role are: • Reconcile month end journals, fixed assets, depreciation, prepayments and accruals • Process VAT returns and Bank reconciliations • Carry out Intrastat reporting, EC Sales submissions • Escalate issues to the financial accountant regarding balance sheet reconciliations • Carry out any specific project work as directed by the Financial Accountant • Assist with the Yearend audit In order for you to be considered for this role you need to have experience in a similar position, strong excel and analytical skills.
