Our junior software developer will be working in a junior capacity to design, develop, test and document software from specifications in accordance with agreed standards for the support and maintenance of integrated IT solutions to the business. This will help to ensure the company's aims and objectives can be achieved through its use of information technology. Day-to-day activities will include designing, coding, testing and documenting software, assisting in evaluating and reviewing programming methods, and planning/designing unit tests while collaborating with other team members in UK and Malaysia. This is also an excellent opportunity to learn and gain experience in the configuration and development of the Microsoft Dynamics suite of business applications in a supportive environment, with the aim of obtaining relevant Microsoft certifications. In order to succeed in this role, you will with experience in c#, .Net Framework, web technologies, CSS and Transact-SQL. You will have excellent academic qualifications, ideally to degree level in software engineering or a similar discipline, as well as good A level and GCSE results. A basic awareness and understanding of corporate, industry and professional standards and ITIL framework is required for this role, as well as the ability to communicate effectively across the business. Additionally, we would like a great team player who also has the attitude and aptitude to work independently, with a positive and enthusiastic approach to self-learning, personal and technical development.
