Service Desk Analyst – 12 month Fixed Term Contract Salary £22,700 to £25,000 – London docklands Our service desk plays an essential role in providing all our people with the stable and reliable IT environment they need. As a service desk analyst, you’ll use your understanding of how systems work together to provide rapid and friendly answers to queries your customers may have, mainly over the phone. And you’ll accurately log all of the issues and requests you deal with, so we can learn from experience and share the knowledge we gain. We’re looking for someone who has experience of working on a service desk and using a service management tool, and since we’re using the ITIL framework, having a good understanding of this would be ideal. You’ll be a strong team player – always keen to help out, share knowledge and can demonstrate they have initiative and enthusiasm and a real passion for delivering high standards of customer service at all times. You’ll have a keen eye for detail and will be able to look at a problem and identify a solution or think of new ways to tackle it. You’ll need to be flexible, willing to adapt and show the potential to quickly grasp a range of processes and procedures. To be considered for the role, you must meet the following criteria: · Experience of working in a busy customer service environment ideally on a technical service desk supporting a high number of users · Working in a busy and changing environment – caring about achieving results as a team while being flexible, resilient and enthusiastic. · Able to accurately log, progress and resolve service calls using an ITSM tool, following processes and procedures. · Basic technical troubleshooting skills and experience of Microsoft products and standard IT applications. · Strong verbal and written communication skills: communicating in a straightforward and approachable way – you’ll be dealing with colleagues at all levels across the organisation.
