Overview

We have several exciting openings for Fraud and Application Support Analysts to join our team in Stockton. You will be responsible for providing second line technical support to multiple customers across various regions. This is an excellent opportunity to gain a lot of technical experience on back office platforms in a busy environment, whilst making improvements using different technologies with ongoing learning and involvement in current and future projects. You will use your experience and qualifications to work across 20 custom-built and standard applications and database systems programmed with a variety of languages on multiple operating systems whilst operating various prevention schemes to identify and reduce fraud. You will be part of a support team working a 4 x 4 rotating shift pattern working with major customers including transport authorities such as TfL (Transport for London). What we’re looking for in you: You will: Have proven experience in application support including system administration, technical troubleshooting, root cause analysis and incident resolution. Have experience in p roviding second line technical support to the wider business including Back Office (Unix, Wintel) and IT (Oracle, MS SQL) and give advice from the application perspective in order to resolve any identified problems. Be competent in reviewing, analyzing, investigating and reporting regarding actual or suspected fraud. Have a selection of skills covering partnership working, improving processes, documentation support, problem solving and reporting. What you need to know: You will be employed on a full time, permanent basis in a supportive role, as well as meeting the criteria outlined in the section above, in order to apply for this opportunity, you must: Have experience of relational database management systems (RDBMS) (i.e. Oracle or MS SQL). Have working experience of small to large scale transactional systems within a fraud/application support role Be c ompetent in MS Office, specifically Excel, Access, Outlook and Word. Have the ability to work in remote teams handling sensitive and confidential information.
