Financial Analyst / FP&A Analyst - SUPERB ROLE McGinnis Loy Associates is proud to be working with one of the world’s most highly recognisable brands who have various autonomous divisions across the UK & Internationally. One of their UK divisions is now looking to recruit a Financial Analyst / FP&A Analyst with strong IT skills who will be responsible for high quality financial planning & analysis for senior management, providing financial data that can help better decision-making across the business. Key duties include: Developing and managing key management information to the Senior Leadership Team Developing financial plans, budgets, forecasts and monthly estimates, including the provision of insightful analysis Providing clear & concise messaging for financial performance, whilst highlighting potential risks and opportunities Supporting the delivery of a low volatile, predictable financial outcome in line with targets through robust and accurate forecasting Ensuring the integrity of financial models in line with Group policy Ensuring the integrity of financial projections through the use of robust and justifiable assumptions Actively consider planning risks and where there are emerging risks or manual controls, review and test to prove resilience Managing the provision of segmental reporting and profitability analysis, including ensuring the quality, transparency and timeliness of financial reporting, Preparing accurate and timely analyses that captures and communicates results, variances and performance trends in order to drive improvement Preparing presentations and communication, including KPIs Managing the pricing model, its development and maintenance, including liaising with the sales team on its use and impact To be considered for the role you should be a fully qualified Accountant (CIMA, ACCA or ACA) with very strong IT skills (inc Excel and multi-dimensional modelling tools ideally) and excellent data analysis skills. You should be able to think operationally and strategically, make sound commercial business decisions and have the ability to collaborate with and influence senior colleagues. Along with being a good communicator, you should be able to clearly present financial information to non-finance managers, have high levels of accuracy and attention to detail, with a questioning approach around cost-control and efficiencies. Whilst a Financial Services or related industry background is preferred it is not essential - expertise in financial analysis, modelling and data manipulation is more important. On offer is a base salary up to £45,000 company car or £5,000 car allowance, up to 20% bonus, 25 days holiday, company pension and healthcare schemes, and other flexible benefits.
