Overview
ProTalent are currently working with an exciting Brighton firm of accountants to recruit a new accountant to join their busy and successful their team. The firm specialises in looking after a wide range of digital and cloud accounting services for the firms client portfolio, covering areas from VAT returns to Xero software migration. We are looking for a fifth person to join this team who can demonstrate that they have what it takes to help thier clients on their digital journey. The role includes all aspects of client services including: Preparation of monthly Xero bookkeeping VAT return preparation HMRC VAT correspondence, including Making Tax Digital Xero monthly reporting, such as profit and loss, management reports Dealing with Xero integrated Apps; such as Receipt Bank, Chargebee Xero migrations and client training opportunities Working closely with colleagues in the Business Services department Meeting and communicating with clients Skills required: Previous experience working in an accountancy practice Confident Xero user Up to date Xero certification Good knowledge of Excel, such as use the of pivot tables To be considered for this role, the successful candidate will need to show that they are highly motivated and can demonstrate high professional standards.
