Overview
M&A / Corporate Finance Executive opportunity within a Top 50 Advisory firm offering long term career progression and exposure to a wide range of transaction work involving SME and Mid-Market clients and PE investors. THE COMPANY A Top 50 Accountancy Practice with a very active M&A / Corporate Finance Advisory team operating at mid-market deal level (£2m - £20m deal values). The firm's M&A / Corporate Finance team advises SME's and Entrepreneurial businesses on Disposals, Mergers, Acquisitions, MBO's and Capital Raising transactions. THE OPPORTUNITY As an M&A / Corporate Finance Executive you will be part of a small growing team, supporting Partners and Managers with the development and delivery of the Corporate Finance offering. You will have the opportunity to gain experience in all areas of deal origination, planning, structuring and execution. As your experience develops you will progress onto leading small deals and transactions under the supervision of experienced Managers. Key duties will include: Assisting with Lead Advisory work on small and mid-market transactions Performing research work on acquisition targets and buyers and preparing Information Memorandum Handling a range of deliverables including forecasts, financial models, analysis reports, proposals and pitches Providing support in meetings with clients and funders Business Development work within the Advisory, Funding and Investment communities You will be rewarded with a competitive salary package, fast-track career progression to Corporate Finance Manager and exposure to a variety of interesting work. THE PERSON You will be an ambitious Finance Professional able to demonstrate the following: ACA / ACCA Qualified, background within Top 10 or Mid-Tier Chartered Practice Good Accounting knowledge in respect of SME and Mid-Market businesses Strong communication skills, able to work with Business Owners and Managers in various industries Ambition and desire to gain 'hands-on' experience in all aspects of transactions as you progress your career within M&A / Corporate Finance Please contact Alastair McLean at Lucas McLean Recruitment to discuss this unique opportunity.
