About the Role: An opportunity is available for a Digital Communications Consultant to join our growing Digital Team. Playing a key role in delivering innovative solutions to a range of public and third sector clients, the Digital Communications Consultant will work collaboratively across the Ecorys UK business under tight deadlines to deliver digital communication campaigns and social media strategies that increase the awareness of public polices for positive social impact. The Digital Communications Consultant will lead on key contracts supporting the creation, management, delivery and monitoring of multi-channel digital communication campaigns that reach and engage international online audiences. The digital tasks are very varied and will involve social media, content, emails, digital advertising, media buying. The role will involve winning new contracts by coordinating expressions of interest and full proposals for new tenders and contributing to proposals in response to new requests from clients on existing Framework contracts. The Digital Communications Consultant role offers the opportunity to work autonomously on a portfolio of projects while utilising coaching skills to support junior members of staff and collaborate closely alongside internal policy specialists. At peak times, you may be required to work outside of normal hours. Travel outside of the UK is also required for client meetings and events. This is a 12-month fixed term role. Role Requirements: You must have demonstrable experience of supporting the creation and delivery of digital campaigns and social media communications, working independently to deliver multiple projects in a fast-paced environment, to tight deadlines. Strong commercial awareness and business development is critical, as you will contribute to the winning of new contracts via providing inputs for digital / social media areas and assist in identifying up-coming opportunities. You must be able to demonstrate experience of leading digital communication campaigns and have a background in the use of digital and social media tools including paid advertising (Google Ads, Google Analytics, Social Media advertising, Mailchimp, CMS systems, Hootsuite). You will also need experience of organising, writing and editing information for the web using a CMS-based publishing environment and producing online content to a high level. Accuracy and high attention to details will be required in the creation of regular campaign reports and social media reports, highlighting trends and bringing insights from the data. You must be able to demonstrate the ability to lead on key contracts, working on your own initiative and as part of a team with excellent co-ordination and high organisational skills. Foundational knowledge of Google tools (Analytics, AdWords, Tag Manager, etc.). Google Analytics and AdWords certified will be an advantage.
