Overview
Service Engineer £30,000 Company Car East/ South East Currently seeking an experienced Instrumentation Engineer for a global leading company. Candidates with experience of servicing and repairing process control instrumentation will be well received. As a Service Engineer you will be required to complete the following tasks: Servicing and commissioning of process control instrumentation Fault diagnostics and repair of a range of electronic and mechanical process control instrumentation Liaise with service co-ordinators to ensure all spares and tools are available Liaise with customers to fully understand the job and keep them up to date with an available time Adhere to site safety rules, permit to work systems and carry out risk assessments To provide technical support in accordance to the roster Assist development and training of other engineers and workshop staff The Service Engineer should have the following skills and experience: Problem solving and diagnostic skills Highly motivated and have the ability to work using own initiative Excellent communication skills both verbally and written A clean UK Driving license The ideal candidate will have an ONC/ HNC or electronic or instrumentation of control however, candidates with an recognised apprenticeship and experience in process control will be considered. This is a home-based role and engineers will cover a local area however on occasions may be needed to travel throughout the UK and to head office. We are keen to hear from engineers living in and around Watford, Potters Bar, East Barnet, Enfield, Edgware, Epping, Barking, Dagenham, Romford, Brentwood and Dartford. Full training will be provided, and once fully trained engineers do have the opportunity to travel overseas and offshore to support key clients.
