This is a great opportunity for an experienced operations manager to join a growing consultancy on the outskirts of Wrexham. As an investor in people company you can be sure that your employee well-being and development is in good hands here Joining the project team, the successful candidate would be responsible for devising and implementing strategy to achieve fore-casted goals with the strategy including the addition of services linked to the utility industry, your duties would also include; Team and project management Manage resources for the benefit of the business and its clients Department financial budget input and ensuring client budgets are adhered to Report on Health and Safety, resourcing and quality Liaise with clients and utility companies via phone, email and site visits Prior to works commencing ensure site will be ready and that the utility companies are still on schedule Attend site meetings with external contractors Provide Technical support to internal departments and external clients The ideal candidate would be comfortable attending internal and external meetings representing the business to the highest standard. Due to travel being a role requirement a full UK driving licence is required along with the following skills and /or experience; Previous experience working within an operations role preferably within the construction or utilities industry The ability to manage a small team ensuring smooth running of the department An excellent head for figures and experience managing budgets Previous project management experience would be beneficial Ability to manage and introduce processes Good organisation and team working ability This really is a great role for an experienced operations manager to join a friendly, local business who are looking to grow.
