Who we are looking for? We are looking for a qualified teacher with QTS who can teach life, independence and work skills, as well as Entry level Functional Maths and English skills. You will join our dynamic and supportive team, in providing high quality learning opportunities, to students aged 16-25, who have a wide range of learning difficulties and disabilities. Experience preferred but this post may suit a primary trained teacher looking to do something a bit different. Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to: Provide pastoral care to students within the new provision. give relevant support and advice on current programmes of study, on future education applications and employment as appropriate. Develop the curriculum for the new provision, in line with the Foundation Learning Framework. Liaise closely with parents and carers and external agencies, as appropriate Have a positive attitude towards students and high expectations of them and for them, Demonstrate a positive attitude towards behaviour management. Plan and deliver Schemes of Work (including lesson plans) in line with course and department documentation.
