Loop is currently available in the mid-Atlantic and Northeastern U.S and Paris and Lille France, with plans to expand into several new markets including Canada, Japan, the UK and Germany in 2020. Job Overview – Loop is hiring a Business Development Associate, Europe to focus on retail relationships. The individual should have 1-2 years’ experience within commercial teams, working knowledge of the CPG and industry and proven ability to autonomously close new business. This role will report to the Head of Business Development in Europe. Primary Responsibilities: Build and drive a continuous pipeline, progressing deals autonomously. Research potential brand partners and identify key points of contact Utilise industry knowledge to inform prospecting approach Manage prospects through the entire sales cycle, negotiate and close new partnerships for Loop Work with senior team members in Europe and globally to assist in scheduling, meetings, and business development activities Coordinate and collaborate with other members of the Loop team to develop strategic projects Requirements/Skills: 1-2 years relevant work experience with an established network to build from Excellent research, writing and communication skills Ability to communicate, influence and negotiate at all levels of the organization, including executive and C-level Proven ability to drive the deals from prospect to close Ability to work well in fast paced environment with multiple projects Highly proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically PowerPoint & Excel Ability to balance long term strategy with practical realities Ability to handle situations in an emotionally intelligent manner Compensation: Competitive salary Salary depending on experience 25 Paid Holiday Days 2 Volunteering Days Quarterly Team Building On site Yoga and activities Company Pension contribution (3% of salary) A casual and friendly work environment with a creative open-office space Start Date – Asap Job description is not all inclusive.
