Overview
Our Client is a leading national training provider. They specialise in supporting Apprenticeship Levy paying employers across England and delivering STEM sector apprenticeships and traineeships. They are a Prime Contractor to the Education and Skills Funding Agency, and in addition to Apprenticeship provision they also deliver Study Programme for 16-19-year olds and Traineeships for 16-24 year olds. They are looking to appoint a Trainer Assessor / Consultant who will be expected to deliver training to Apprentices completing Industry based Apprenticeships, whilst also supervising, assisting and assessing them in a range of workplace locations. This is a regional role where you will be covering a workload around Sheffield and the surrounding area. Delivering training that supports the development of Functional Skills Maths and English to achieve outcomes at Level 2 for both, you will carry out individual assessments of candidate’s assignments and project work, providing feedback and guidance as necessary. You will also provide regular updates to employer providers, and will actively engage with them as part of candidate 12 weekly reviews. They are looking for someone who has an A1 / TAQA 3 (or equivalent) coupled with PTTLS / CTTLS / DTTLS (or equivalent). With experience of delivering training in the workplace to meet specific criteria and learning outcomes, and of assessing at Level 2/3 in a subject area, you will also have experience of self-managing a portfolio of learners with successful outcomes. A self-motivated individual who can deliver effective and quality training on a 1:1 or larger group basis, you will be able to develop course materials to support additional learning needs. As the successful candidate you will have trade experience, particularly in manufacturing and lean six sigma.
