Job Title: Stores Operative / Materials Assistant Location: Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire Duration: 3 6 months Interviews/Start date: Interviews and immediate start available (LTD / Umbrella) Wanted We have an urgent requirement for an experienced stores operative who has experience of goods in / goods out and stores management to support and be a key part of a rolling stock / railway project” Our client is a well-known rolling stock company who has made a name for themselves as a professional outfit. With many years’ experience they are known for being the world’s leading manufacturer of rolling stock components and supplier of additional sub-systems for rail and commercial vehicles. The Candidate: Are you smart, savvy and enjoy the responsibility of organisation? You will have experience of goods in / goods out, stores management and understanding the importance of good database management to ensure actual control of stock. Is delivered to the correct workstations and teams with great efficiency to ensure the work can be carried out accordingly. The Role: Up for a challenge? Great, lets tell you about the role Your sole responsibility will be to ensure correct stock is issued and delivered to the fitters and technicians who work on the engineering shop floor and require materials, parts and components to carry out work on vehicles and recording of deliveries being delivered to the warehouse. Good computer skills and a valid Forklift Truck License. .
