Overview

Waking Nights Support Worker needed on an ad-hoc basis for several schemes across Bristol and Gloucestershire Your new company Hays work with several schemes across Bristol and Gloucestershire that support those who may be homeless, at risk of homelessness, and have complex needs such as substance abuse and mental health. In the current climate we are looking for support workers who would be able to provide support throughout the night to those that need it. Your new role You will provide emotional and practical support to residents who may need it during the night; you will be supporting the team to deal with any anti-social behaviour, breaches of tenancy and complaints; you may help with administrative tasks. You will also do a handover to the team in the morning about what has happened during the night shift. What you'll need to succeed You will need to have some experience in a supported housing, or similar, environment. Have a positive attitude and be able to identify situations that may pose a risk to residents and be able to deal with them accordingly. You may be working alone, or alongside other security staff, so you should be comfortable with lone working What you'll get in return Flexible working options available.
