Overview
Our client, a local charity that offers support to people in the local community and helps them to overcome day-to-day challenges, achieving their potential and leading an independent life. They are looking to recruit a Facilities Officer to support the Administration team. This work involves a considerable variety of tasks and therefore requires patience, discipline and close time management in order to meet administrative deadlines in a busy people focused environment. The post holder’s duties include welcoming all visitors and deliveries, maintaining security and entering all visitors in the logbook. To be considered you will need to be able to support the Head of Administration with all premises related issues and be proactive, a team player supporting the administration team. The post holder will need to be computer literate, have experience of using Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel and able to help with computer problem solving. Training will be available as appropriate. The post holder will need to be a car driver with their own vehicle and be able to physically manage stationery including some moderate lifting. A Disclosure and Barring Service check will be required, which we can arrange.
