Sous Chef Fresh Food Pub Tips Free Live In A food led pub situation in the Preston region of Lancashire is recruiting for a Head Chef role Role: An experienced Head Chef is required to take the lead in the kitchen of an upmarket food led pub in order to push the standards forward to gain recognition in the region.The pub will have a team of six working in the kitchen who you will be required to lead from the front whilst also being closely involved with the business ensuring that the dining operation works well alongside the other departments.As Head Chef you will autonomy to create your own menus; select suppliers; manage your GP%; control the kitchen costs and have an awareness of the P&L. Requirements: A Head Chef who has been working in high quality pubs or restaurants where you were cooking to AA Rosettes standards.The ability to manage your own team so that you are fully involved in the daily ‘hands on’ work in the kitchen whilst also managing the financial performance of the kitchen and ensuring the kitchen admin is up to date.
