A busy family run pub located in Derbyshire is recruiting for a Head Chef Role: A village pub that has a high volume dining operation catering for over 200 covers on the busiest days is seeking a Head Chef to run the kitchen which serves the restaurant as well as the conference and events room.Due to the busy nature of this pub it is essential that as Head Chef you are incredibly organised with the capacity to ensure that your team of eight chefs are also highly organised and fully aware of the kitchen procedures.In this role you will lead your team from the front whilst also taking charge of the kitchen admin as well as being responsible for the financial performance of the kitchen. Requirements: All chefs applying for this role should be experienced Head Chefs who have been working in high volume, fresh food venues with experience of restaurant and banqueting service.A meticulous chef who is highly organised with the ability to manage a team who are all working under pressure is required for this role.A proven ability to work within budget whilst also remaining up to date with admin and achieving 5 star hygiene ratings is also essential.
