A popular dining pub located in Cheshire is recruiting for a Junior Sous Chef Role: A busy fresh food pub that serves award winning menus that feature classic British pub dishes presented and created in a modern style. The kitchen at the pub is creating large numbers of covers daily with the team of ten chefs working under pressure to ensure that service runs smoothly and waiting times are kept to a minimum. The Head Chef needs a Junior Sous Chef who can work across the sections in the kitchen as well as work closely with the Sous Chef including covering for them in their absence and supervising the junior members of the team. Requirements: A Junior Sous Chef or Senior Chef de Partie who has been working in a high volume, all fresh food kitchen is needed to take on this position. It is important that you are organised in your approach to work with the ability to work quickly without affecting the high standards of your cooking. All chefs must have previous supervisory experience and are confident to direct others.
