Overview
Job Title - Senior Reinsurance Claims Handler Contract - Permanent Salary - £65,000 Car Bonus Location - London Industry - Insurance Broker, Reinsurance The Role:- ·Undertake administration to assist division in the settlement of claims and collating current information and statistics in an accurate and efficient process. Main Responsibilities:- ·Oversea the workflow of Claim's Technician's and supervise all accordingly. ·Provide a pro-active service to expedite the settlement of claims, liaising between all parties and actively chasing information. ·Gather and produce claims documentation information for Producers, Brokers and Account Executives. ·Support Producers, Brokers and Account Executives by providing relevant information and raising potential issues as appropriate. ·Produce claims information, statistics and records for each client. ·Correspond with Clients/Underwriters and resolve any queries that arise. ·Update computerised records and manual claims files. ·Issue documents to clients according to stated guidelines. ·Collate complete, accurate and meaningful information for Insurers. ·Account reconciliation. ·Arrange payments to Clients/Adjustors/Lawyers. ·Manage and undertake assigned project work to time scales as directed. ·Produce and monitor claims statistics for current and closed claims. Client Service: Understand the insurance cover of each client. Provide pro-active service to expedite the settlement of claims, liaising between all parties and actively chasing information. Representing our client: ·Champion the client name and core values. ·Represent the client with agents, suppliers and other organisations. Compliance: ·Comply with relevant legal, regulatory and company compliance requirements, Errors and Omissions (E&O) compliance procedures and quality initiatives. ·Escalate any potential E&O's to Divisional Directors and the Legal & Compliance team at the earliest opportunity.
