Overview

Opportunity for a Sales Ledger Clerk to join a small friendly finance team. Dartford Based Your new company Hays are working in cooperation with a fresh produce distribution company to help them find their newest Sales Ledger Clerk. You will be working as part of a small friendly finance team. Working hours are Monday to Friday 08:30 - 17:00 hrs (30 min lunch break) Your new role Rating individual jobs using pre-defined pricing matrix Producing and sending high volume customer invoices daily Sending customer statements Customer query resolution Updating reports regarding daily business functions General administrative duties What you'll need to succeed The position requires someone who is confident and well spoken Excellent numeracy skills required along with a keen eye for detail Ability to operate computerised systems including good MS Skills (Outlook, Word, Excel) Successful candidate should possess excellent written and verbal communication skills and telephone manner An enthusiastic and organised approach to work is required Ability to work alone and to be a good team player Flexible approach is essential as there may be the need to cover other ad hoc Account duties as and when required Ideally the applicant will have experience in Sales Ledger.
