Overview
Elevation Recruitment Group are currently recruiting for one of Doncaster's choice employers. They have national operations and have grown recently through acquisition to over £175 Million turnover. They operate out of conveniently located offices close to the motorway. They currently have an exciting opportunity for a technically strong Financial Accounting Manager to ensure that financial and management reporting is performed accurately & to prescribed timescales and quality standards. It is a varied role with duties to include: - Managing the general ledger team of 3 people (including 1 to 1s, appraisals and any training and development needs) Production of month-end management accounts Conduct preparation, reviews and sign-off of monthly Balance Sheet reconciliations Provide financial guidance to support and challenge the business Statutory accounts production and returns Management of tax provisions Setting and monitoring team objectives Drive continuous improvement, developing best practice of operational procedures Prepare commentary on key monthly variances for the financial statements Liaison with external auditors Contribute to ad-hoc projects as necessary To be successful for this role you MUST have the following skills: ACCA or ACA Qualified Three to five years' experience within financial accounts Experience of managing others Experience of statutory accounts production and corporation tax Ability to work to tight deadlines Confident and strong communicator Good attention to detail The company offers a progressive and structured career path as well as a good benefits package: - Competitive salary Pension (3% employer contribution) 25 annual leave days (plus Bank Holidays) Free car parking In addition, they run a range of internal programmes such as health and well-being initiatives, local discounts, cycle to work schemes etc. If you meet the criteria for this role, and are interested in being put forward please do not hesitate to apply or contact me to discuss.
