Job; Senior Systems Engineer/Analyst – London W1 This company is an investment management firm with a strong focus on achieving positive absolute returns within a robust risk management framework. They currently manage two investment strategies: 1) following an actively managed global event-driven approach focusing on equity and equity-related securities of companies undergoing significant corporate actions 2) providing specialist private credit exposure with a focus on the niche short-term UK property lending market. They are looking for an individual to join them on a permanent basis to lead the build of a greenfield, best-of-breed loan management system with their current development partner. Their successful candidate will; Work with internal stakeholders (e.g. business, security, compliance) and the development team to ensure that the system meets business needs Own the product road-map for the loan management system, prioritizing development efforts in line with company objectives Work with their operations team to ensure that the loan systems are run as a production quality service Collaborate with internal and partner teams to resolve bugs and improve the loan management system Required skills; Good working knowledge of Python with recent production experience Experience operating systems in production on Linux / Windows / Cloud / Hosted / On-Premises Domain knowledge and experience working in finance, with experience at a lender / finance provider being highly desirable Other Stuff; £’s; fully DoE up to approx. £70k-£90k (neg.) benefits Location; London W1 How to get to them; a short walk from Piccadilly Circus tube station Interested?
