Our client provides Support to clientele with mental health problems equipping them with daily life skills to live independently in the community. Essential Requirements: The successful candidate must have experience in a similar role as well as having; Excellent communication skills Good organisational skills A reliable and trustworthy nature The ability to liaise with professionals / families and carers Desirable Requirements: NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health and Social Care Responsibilities and Tasks: Based in 1 of the 7 respites in Birmingham you will be required to do waking night duty throughout the night as well as; Assessing and reviewing the individuals needs and attending meeting to discuss findings Supporting and encouraging individuals with their daily living skills Ensuring the environment is safe and secure (e.g. all windows are closed, electrical plugs removed from sockets) Ensuring residents are comfortable and given assistance and necessary Hours: 36 hours a week (staff will not be allowed to sleep on duty) Salary: £8.21 per hour Benefits: 17 Days Holiday per annum and ongoing training.
