Overview
Temporary Care Assistants Needed We have a variety of temporary care assistant roles for a number of care homes in North and North West London. The home has a range from residential care with dementia services to nursing homes. Due to this very busy time, many of my clients are taking on extra staff to eleviate the permanet staff in sharing out the work load. As care assistant you will be joining a friendly team with a supportive and committed manager. Enjoy free meals whilst on duty Free car parking Free uniform Excellent training and development Excellent promotional prospects The care assistant role involves supporting the elderly and those with dementia and assisting them in receiving person centered care that meets their specific needs. You will also have the opportunity to support them in memory and reminiscence tasks and help them achieve their daily tasks and desires. You will also be required to assist them with their personal care needs when necessary and administer medication according to their care plan Our ideal care assistant will have an approachable and calm nature with the NVQ Level 2 in health and social care (or equivalent). You will also have experience working with the elderly or those with dementia. You will be able to demonstrate initiative and work well independently and as part of a team. Experience working in a care or nursing home is required however we will consider candidates with experience in home care settings. This role may also suit a healthcare assistant or support worker. You will have the opportunity to select which shift paterns you are able to work and full personal protective equiptment will be supplied to you in order to keep yourself safe. The successful care assistant will undergo full safeguarding checks. In the first instance, please send your CV.
