My client is one of the UK's leading providers of Specialist Education and Care services for children and young people. This is a fantastic opportunity to join an Ofsted rated "OUTSTANDING" service. They are looking for Day and Night support workers to work in their children’s home and school which provides education, care and therapeutic support for children and young people between the ages of 6-19 who have severe, profound and multiple learning difficulties resulting in complex learning needs. Previous experience would be highly beneficial but is not essential. What’s more important to them is that you can demonstrate the right attitude to make a difference. As Support Worker you will ideally have: Willingness to learn and to go the extra mile Ability to guide and encourage supportive independence when possible Exceptional communication skills and patience Resilient with a robust and positive nature Ability to be creative in meeting the needs of young adults or children’s needs Ability to work on a rota pattern which will include working every other weekend Details: Salary: £8.75 - £9.40 Location: Meldreth, Cambridgeshire/Hertfordshire border - Nr.
