Overview

Hours- 4 week rota pattern of 14 shifts (2045-0815)- Average of 39 hours a week, but will also consider flexible shift patterns to suit your social and family life. We are currently recruiting for Night Support workers to work within a service which offers a supportive living and learning enviroment for young adults who have severe and profound learning difficulties. Key Responsilbilities- Provide a good transitional oppurtunity to move from education into adulthood with person centered programmes. Provide care for people with multiple disabilities who may have sensory and physical impairments who benifit from the facilities provided on site. At night your role will be to provide the highest level of care for young adults the tasks may include; assisting on getting them dressed,getting them ready for bed including washing and changing, encouraging a healthy sleeping pattern,checking on them at regular intervals and dealing with any incidents that may occur. This is a waking night posotion so in the quiet periods you will be expected to get involved in some light housekeeping duties. To assist with dressing, washing and getting ready for the day in the morning. What we offer- We offer full training and will be supported by a great team.
