Overview
My client is a Residential Care Home based in Worthing, we are seeking to recruit two Health Care Assistant's to join their enthusiastic and loyal team where most employees have 10 years plus service. As an independent residential care home providing kind, compassionate care to 26 residents, we are looking for people who can demonstrate compassion and empathy in their approach to caring for the older generation. Hours of work are 36 hours per week, working alternate weekends. Shift patterns comprise of: 8am - 2pm 2pm - 8pm 8am - 8pm Your responsibilities will be to provide personal care to residents, supporting them to be as independent as possible. You will be offering support with nutritional needs, recording the care delivered to each resident and will also help and engage in activities, personal errands and general assistance with the daily lives of the residents. Skills include: An NVQ or diploma in Health and Social Care level 2 or The Care Certificate. The successful person will be motivated, reliable and willing to work as part of a team to help deliver outstanding care to the residents. Enhanced DBS and references will be required. Opportunities of career progress and develop to Team Leader or Senior roles. Rates of pay - £8.90ph weekdays and £9.60ph weekends.
