Overview

A great opportunity is available for an HR Advisor for an immediate 4 month FTC with potential for extension or possible transition to permanent employment. Joining a fantastic HR team who are normally based at offices in central Woking, the HR Advisor will of course be required to work from home until the Covid-19 situation loosens (possible the whole contract) but needs an experienced all round HR Advisor with a flexible and pragmatic approach who is able to manage & guide end-to-end complex employee relations processes across remote or multi-site teams. In these challenging times, the client will conduct all interviews via video conference and induct and on-board any individual with complete flexibility in line with the current circumstance and government guidelines Some key responsibilities will include: Employee Relations Develop, deliver and maintain company policies and guidelines in line with current Employment Law regulations. Provide commercially focused advice and operational support to managers on all ER issues in line with the company procedures including; disciplinary, grievance, performance management and absence management particularly in a complex and fast paced environment. Responsible for building relationships with all levels of management to provide expert knowledge on complex employee issues for effective management of case workload. Assist with the delivery of Change Management communication and operational support (TUPE and Redundancy). Raise and improve Managers awareness of current and new Employment Legislation. Effective and timely escalation of high risk cases or Employment Tribunal claims whilst working closely with the Head of HR. Responsible for building strong aligned relationships with management teams by attending at least one team meeting a year on your specified Client Accounts. Providing the Head of HR with regular updates of case workloads. To complete Ad hoc project work when required. Administration Responsible for keeping the HR intranet sites up to date and relevant. To create and maintain the HR E-forms. Other Requirements Regularly read and follow Company policies and procedures at all times. Polices can be found on the intranet. Take personal responsibility to comply with Health & Safety Regulations. Take responsibility for your own personal development and ensure all mandatory training is completed on time. Adhere to all General Data Protection Rules and policies (GDPR). Key Skills to be Considered CIPD Qualified to Level 3 or Level 5 Experienced HR Advisor with at least 1-2 years’ experience in the role Demonstrable experience managing end to end ER processes A sound understanding of Human Resource principles and best practice Up to date knowledge of Employment Law Knowledge of dealing with employee relations including Disciplinary, grievance, sickness management, capability, terminations Intermediate use of Microsoft Word, Excel and HR databases Verbal communication skills to communicate with a diverse client group Apply today for immediate consideration .
