Overview
You will be joining a growing business who are now seeking a Purchasing Administrator to join their Purchasing Team. This role is fundamental to the business as your work allows the Buyers to operate at the Strategic level as opposed to being sucked in to the day to day. You will be coordinating between several functions, raising and chasing Purchase orders, speaking with suppliers around lead and delivery times, measuring the Supplier performance and meeting suppliers alongside the Purchasing team. Your core responsibility will be to take as much weight off the team as possible with your ability to be pro-active in your activity whilst also taking more and more responsibility as you grow in to the role. Computer skills - Excel and ERP advantageous Strong communication skills Strong organisational and Admin skills Problem solver and able to spin several plates at once Manufacturing or product based background This is a great opportunity if you are looking to get in to Procurement and Supply Chain or if you are an experienced Administrator looking to add value.
