Overview

Do you have experience within the Travel Industry or Wedding planning? Do you have good knowledge of USA, Caribbean, Mexico and Canada? We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Travel professional to join an established Tour Operator based in the South London area. Description: To service the customer booking needs by handling their questions, concerns and requests with speed and professionalism. By working with suppliers create a seamless booking and travel experience, whilst maximising profitability potential and building strong relationships. Responsibilities: Answer all enquiries (via both email and telephone) professionally and promptly Research required information using available resources Provide the customer with Product and service information, in accordance and compliance with the ABTA Code of Conduct and EU Package Travel Regulations Provide customers with information on local fees, and legal requirements to facilitate weddings abroad Use strongly established relationship skills to negotiate rates and inclusions where appropriate Construct each itinerary with a mindfulness of the suppliers contract rules Demonstrate a commercial aptitude via the profitability tracking of each booking Systematically build group components into the bookings construction Effectively communicate payment schedules with the Finance team Effectively communicate air contract rate and ticketing dates to the Air Operations team The production and distribution of attractive and detailed travel itinerary documentation Call all suppliers a minimum of 24 hours prior to the customers arrival to ensure a seamless travel experience, handling any and all obstacles which this activity may present with efficiency. Contribute to the tracking of enquiry conversions, and offering suggestions and solutions to increase conversion rates Contribute to the production of marketing material focused to promote products to a personalised database Attendance at wedding show events when opportunities arise Attendance on wedding focused educational trips Be a role model to the Wedding & Groups junior executive, offering the sharing of expertise to their future development Requirements for this role: A real passion for travel and customer service Previous travel experience is essential Excellent destination knowledge of US, Caribbean, Canada, Mexico and Europe product Ability to read and interpret supplier contracts A proven track record of consistently achieving sales targets Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal Attention to detail Strong organizational skills Team player Flexible self-starter Salary and Working Hours: Monday - Friday (9-5.30pm). £19,000 - £21,000 dependent on experience INTERESTED: To apply for the position of Wedding and Groups Executive Click 'apply' to submit your CV.
