Overview

Southend Council are recruiting for a full time locum to work within their CM16 team as a Personal Advisor for an ongoing position. In this position you will be required to work as part of a team to provide support to young people preparing to leave care and to be responsible for their support post care. Ensuring that young people are living in suitable accommodation, have the opportunity of being engaged in work, training or education and that they are not socially isolated. You will need to have knowledge of the issues young people face, looked after children and associated child in need social work practice issues along with knowledge of methods of social work intervention.
