CLF Distribution CLF Distribution are now recruiting for an experienced and well organised buyer who has experience in all aspects of the procurement process. We supply independent retailers and health conscious consumers with natural products from several hundred healthy brands. The company has a strong ethos of team work, supporting our staff and sharing in the company profits through a bonus scheme paid monthly. The role is split into five key aspects, sourcing, strategy, stock control, supplier relationships & problem solving whilst managing your own set of existing supplier accounts. Duties Responsible for your own set of regular suppliers Sourcing new suppliers/brands Negotiating terms & conditions Creating & implementing brands for key categories Raising & expediting purchase orders Controlling stock levels Booking in purchase orders Skills Good practical knowledge of Microsoft packages, including Excel & Word Administration and the ability to use reports and spot trends Meeting 'Just in Time’ deadlines Strong negotiating skills Excellent communication skill.
