Overview

An enthusiastic, self-motivated and committed Asbestos Surveyor/Site Analyst is being sought by one of the top players within the asbestos market in the UK. The company is offering the successful candidate the opportunity to work on various prestigious contracts in and around the London area and will consider applications from Hertford, Croydon, Watford, Slough, Epson and the surrounding areas. Qualifications & Experience: The applicant must have attained the P402, P403, P404 or the equivalent RSPH qualifications and must have significant practical experience in both asbestos surveying and asbestos air-monitoring duties. Must be fully conversant with Health & Safety procedures pertaining to asbestos. Must be IT literate and proficient in using the Microsoft Office Package. Possess good communication skills, both written and verbal. Tasks Will Include: Carrying out 4 stage clearances, smoke, background, leak reassurance, visual, re-occupation and personal air testing on various properties. Providing Management, Refurbishment and Demolition surveys on various properties including commercial and industrial. Supervising asbestos contractors on site and ensuring they that adhere to Health and Safety procedures regarding asbestos. Producing comprehensive and accurate technical asbestos reports. Building and maintaining a good work rapport with the company's mixed portfolio of clients. Attributes The successful post holder will be an all-rounder, flexible, committed, have good work ethic and at the same time have the aptitude to carry out work effectively within the specified timeline.
