Overview
Grafton Banks Finance Ltd is pleased to be working with a market leading manufacturing business in Croydon who is recruiting for a Management Accountant. The role involves the following: Supporting the Plant Controller managing and maintaining the company costing system. Supporting the Plant Controller with maintaining a detailed and accurate Fixed Asset Register. Carrying out all finance activities related to capital expenditure including capitalisation of labours costs. Carrying out R2R activities to support the preparation of the monthly management accounts: Preparing prepayment and accruals. Foreign currency loan revaluations Balance sheet reconciliations Preparation of SG&A expenditure by cost centre. Preparation of International accounts. Supporting the intercompany processes. Monitoring and tidying up GRNI and PO process. Supporting the interim and full year financial audits to ensure timely and efficient completion. Supporting the FP&A team with the budgeting and forecasting process. Managing the relationship with the credit insurers. Preparation of the credit control reports and obtaining credit insurance. Preparation of monthly board pack submissions. Preparing the payment practices report and any National Statistics reports. Identifying opportunities to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of accounting activities. Carrying out ad-hoc tasks as requested by management. Your profile will be similar to the following: Part-qualified/Finalist/Qualified ACCA or CIMA Accountant. Minimum 3 years experience working in a finance department of an international organisation. Knowledge of preparing accounts under International Financial Reporting Standards (especially IAS16 and IAS 38). High level communication skills in order to proactively engage with stakeholders in other departments. Strong IT skills are essential (particularly the use of Excel and ERP systems/databases). Manufacturing experience is preferable (but not essential).
