Our exciting client based in Doncaster is seeking Full Stack PHP Developer on a permanent basis. Ok, so what are you looking for? We are looking for an enthusiastic team player with a passion for problem solving to join our growing software development team. Being an excellent communicator and driver of innovation, you will develop new & legacy solutions, written in PHP with the support of front-end skills, to help support the business goals and help transform the business. Great, so where & who will I be working with? My client has worked hard as a team to develop a relaxed, fun and coherent environment without the need for the unused beanbag and latest games console perks. They don’t have an onsite gym, but we do enjoy getting together as a team and getting lost in escape rooms from time to time or taking out our frustrations over that missing semi-colon on a game of squash. They are a multi-skilled team that thrives on having the ability to put forward new and exciting ideas across the business whilst remaining flexible with the tools we use. So, what do you expect from me? Aside from being a passionate problem solver with excellent communication skills we would expect you to be capable of the following: • Plan, develop and implement new technical solutions • Maintaining and improving existing PHP applications • Writing efficient, lean, scalable and functional code • Building user-friendly interfaces • Visualise and design suitable database schemas • Assist with project planning • Keep up to date with web technologies and design trends • Help the department drive technical innovation Sounds good, what skills are you looking for? In order to excel in the environment, you’ll possess a great personality and superb communication skills with matched passion and drive. Aside from the softer skills you’ll need to unleash your technical skills which include • PHP (OOP & Procedural) • Laravel • JavaScript - VueJS • MySQL • HTML/CSS (utilising CSS frameworks) • Understanding of AGILE methodologies (kanban) • GIT • Understanding of CI/CD • Knowledge of Composer/NPM So, what’s in it for me?
