Overview
A Design Engineer / CAD Draughtsperson is required for an international engineering company based in Burgess Hill, West Sussex. Paying and excellent salary and comprehensive benefits package this is an ideal opportunity to join a growth business. You will be a strong 3D CAD able to work on larger products used in the Process industry. Your responsibilities as a Design Engineer / CAD Draughtsman will include: Produce detailed CAD drawings and Layouts in both 3D and 2D for the company’s range of products using Solidworks, AutoCAD and Tekla Working closely across departments including Structural Engineer, Process Engineering and Project Engineering to ensure designs are fit for purpose Produce all associated paperwork supporting the design process including BOM Liaise with subcontract manufacturers to ensure they have a comprehensive understanding of the manufacturing requirements. Ensure all design meet company and client standards and quality guidelines Keep up to date with industry standards and regulations. Working on multiple projects on a global basis Although knowledge of Solidworks is essential for the position, you will also be required to become adapt at using AutoCAD and Tekla. You will be able to produce robust and accurate drawings and schematics for larger engineering projects. This is an ideal opportunity for a Design Engineer looking for a role in the Process Industry offering excellent long-term opportunities and stability. You will be Degree/HND/HNC Qualified in an Engineering related subject, have an inquiring and focused approach to Engineering.
