Overview
A start up business based on the outskirts of the city centre currently seek a temporary Assistant Accountant for an initial period of 3 months. There is potential this role could become permanent but it isn't yet confirmed. This is a really exciting opportunity to join an innovative and rapidly growing business. The role will work alongside the Financial Controller and will be responsible for the following: - Posting of invoices - Posting of expenses - Prepaying payments - Bank recs - Posting of accruals and prepayments - VAT returns The business use Xero so experience of that system is desirable however isn't essential. Strong Excel skills are essential. As the business are a small company, it is essential candidates are happy to take on duties that may fall outside the job spec.
