Procurement Administrator Rotherham £19,000 to £20,000 per annum Benefits Package Monday to Friday 8am to 4.30pm Procurement Administrator role available in a successful manufacturer and service provider. The role will appeal to those who like being in a people focused environment in a busy and varied role. To apply for the role, you need to be highly organised, confident communicating over the phone, have excellent attention to detail and must also be IT literate including Excel. Experience working with Sage would be advantageous. Those who have some experience in a supply chain administration/ purchasing assistant/ procurement or coordination role will be well suited although not essential. You will help to expedite purchase orders so that they are in line with suppliers SLA. You will chase purchase orders with suppliers to ensure on time delivery and maintain contact with clients, suppliers and shipping companies while deliveries are in progress. You will also deal with any claim/ returns in the case that delivery isn’t fit for specification and process new product codes for parts and products. The company are professional and people orientated creating an excellent team based culture. You will join a team or around 60 staff at the company’s head office. The Role: Progress and chase purchase orders with suppliers to ensure on time delivery. Maintain contact with suppliers and shipping companies. Process new product codes on Sage for parts and products. Oversee any claim/return towards supplier Make sure that all delivered goods are labelled to right specification. The Procurement Administrator: Experience in a supply chain administration/ coordinator role. Attention to detail and highly organised. Excellent telephone skills. IT literate, experience with Excel desired.
